Dr. Anthony C.K. Kakooza

Dr. Anthony C.K. Kakooza is an intellectual property and cyber law expert and former Dean of Law at Uganda Christian University. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois (USA), Shandong University (China), and the University of Venda (South Africa), and has held visiting professorships at Cornell Law School, Masaryk University, and the University of Rwanda. An Advocate of the High Court of Uganda, he is a Partner at Byenkya, Kihika & Co. Advocates. He is also a WIPO-accredited arbitrator and mediator for intellectual property disputes and has worked with WIPO on regulating traditional knowledge and folklore in Uganda, Malawi, and Ghana.
