Hon. Dorah Kanabahati Byamukama

Hon. Dorah Kanabahati Byamukama is a Human Rights and Gender Consultant with the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region Regional Training Facility, where she trains professionals on handling gender-based violence cases. She served as an elected Member of the East African Legislative Assembly from 2012 to 2017, drafting several bills to address human trafficking in the region, and previously represented Mwenge South as a Member of the Parliament of Uganda. She holds two law degrees from Makerere University.
